Combines our most popular rail and stile bits with a vertical ogee raised panel bit. Designed for use with a 1/2" shank table-mounted router with 3/4" stock. All bits have 1/2" shanks. Cuts all composition materials, plywood, hardwood, and soft wood. Use on 1/2" shank table-mounted portable routers. Set includes 99-261 rail & stile bit set and 99-320 vertical raised panel bit, and comes in an attractive wooden storage box.

I'll adjust the equipment to make this work (mainly improving the fence design with a larger jig attached to the fence for holding the material and using more featherboards), but I'll buy my next paneling bit in the horizontal design. If you have smaller routing table capacity (mines a larger bench style model), the horizontal bit seems to be a bit better in terms of holding the stock material, therefore allowing a better cut. This is a very good set, makes perfect matches and the bits will be very durable as Freud makes good products. My only comment is more related to my first experience with a vertical paneling bit verse a horizontal.
